Mercedez Benz Fashion week _ Camilla

Next up! Camilla!!!!!  Well, we were taken off site for this one, and taken to Sydneys Centennial park. As i entered the park i could see TeePees and as i got closer could smell the amazing aroma of a camp fire. As i arrived i notice people flocking together where they had a lama, owls, children playing within a setup that was decked out with Camilla homewares . Rugs, Pillows, Lamp shades, chairs and more. An absolutely stunning way to enter into this extravaganza of a show.
This is one of the reasons why i love Camilla so much, its not just about the clothes, its about the whole experience. Camilla was inspired by mother earth for this collection and as i entered the TeePee to find my seat i could see just how much! There was fruit, vegetable, tree bark, a fire decorating the tent.
Show time! Here we go. As the pieces started to come out, i was blown away by just how much variety there was. The collection still had the signature splash of colours, but it was the fabrics and the way in which they were used that was so different. There were sheer pleated long skirts, beaded crop tops, leather jackets and of course the signature flowing pieces, both long and short.
The hair was absolutely stunning, using different coloured wefts in maroon, bottle green, grey and they were a real highlight for me. But the real star was the collection. Special guest Georgia Jagger, Mick jaguars daughter, was absolutely stunning and closed another fabulous show for Camilla. Im a huge fan and i can't wait to start playing with some of these pieces!

Mercedes Benz Fashion week - Alice McCAll

Due to logies and my single announcement,  i missed the first two days of Sydneys biggest fashion event, the Mercedes Benz fashion. But wow! What a way to start it!
Alice McCall was absolutely stunning! There was a real etherial feel to show but the range of design was beautiful. From Flowing and sheer white and nude piece to structured midnight blue leather crop. The colour pallette wasnt extensive but line did not disappoint. The range diversity came from the way in used each fabric was used . Her signiture short featured heavily in the show, with both stiff fabrics and more flowing fabrics too. The prints were stunning and and twist on the stud with matt bubble studs were my highlight!
